Kieran Blackwood

After spending twelve years wrestling with budget approvals at three different multinational corporations, Kieran founded auriflexon in 2019. He'd seen too many good projects die in endless approval loops and too many finance teams burning out from manual processes.

Before auriflexon, he was CFO at Brisbane-based tech company Innova Systems, where he first developed the systematic approach that became our core methodology. Kieran holds a CPA and an MBA from QUT, but more importantly, he understands what it's like to present to a board at 9 PM because the approval process took three months longer than expected.

He started auriflexon because he believes every business deserves approval workflows that actually work for real people dealing with real deadlines.
